Allen HA has been the Chief Executive Officer of AsiaWorld-Expo
Management Limited (AWE) since 2007. He has also played an instrumental
role in the development of AWE from its conception in 2003 to its
rise to become a world・s leading EXPOtainment venue in Asia today.
Under Allen・s leadership, AWE has achieved double-digit annual business
growth for many consecutive years.
AWE has also been named the prestigious ：Best Venue Team； for Asia
by the renowned CEI Asia Industry Awards, and one of the Top Three
：Best Convention / Exhibition Centre； in Asia for many years.
Being a passionate pioneer of innovation on both an individual
and team level, Allen is responsible for the pilot and overall implementation
of AWE・s strategic direction. He is also an advocate for collaboration
both within and outside the Company, and brings this spirit into
his roles in several government committees, non-governmental organizations
and charities. As a father of two sons, Allen is concerned about
the holistic development of the next generation, and is devoted
to promote the upward mobility of youths in the community. He contributes
regularly for a magazine column, hoping to help young people plan
for the future by sharing his experience in business management.
In addition, Allen is the Founding Chairman of Lantau Development
Alliance (LaDA) and has been appointed by the Government as a member
of the Lantau Development Advisory Committee (LanDAC) since January
2014 and the Chairman of the Public Relation and Engagement Taskforce
of the LanDAC since September 2014. Allen is a member of the Economic
Development Commission Working Group on Convention and Exhibition
Industries and Tourism. Allen has also been appointed as the distinguished
member of Zhuhai CPPCC, and will help to promote the collaboration
between Hong Kong and Zhuhai, including the development of the MICE
EXPOtainment sector.
